From Poetess Desk…..
Emotional inclination is the seat of the heart. Who cherishes it and how?
Written under the cool affectionate shade of the Lord, under his most holy feet, this is a touching poem of social inequality, pain, suffering, internal conflicts in a philosophical background.
Humans, imprisoned in the blazing cycle of sorrow!
Ran towards eternal happiness.
That happiness. Which is intact, eternal.
But the search!
The search is a search.
It is endless. His style is infinite.
What does the finite know about the language of the infinite?
He can only express it in words from the unfathomable experiences of his innermost being.
This happiness. This truth.
Eternal bliss.
With the tide of shocks, the rotating buds, descending into the unfathomable depths, immersing every sensation, man keeps on descending and moving in them, oscillating with the impulses of feelings.
What is bliss?
The shadow of sorrow. In which there is no spark.
This, the unchangeable, disinterested realm, is the only possible, eternal bliss.
Only the dispassionate can experience this bliss.
The restless mind-six-step mixed with the mortal in the fragrant net of hopes and desires cannot even know it.
But!
The pain of non-attainment!
Whether it is worldly or other-worldly.
He can certainly experience it. Because,
bondage is always impatient and waiting for liberation.
So,
Siddhartha!
He broke free from the whirlpool of sorrow and moved ahead in search of extreme happiness.
It was sorrow that motivated him.
It was pain.
The bitter pleasure of transformation.
The cool intoxicating shade of happiness.
What does dawn know? And even if she gets burnt,
How can she remain calm?
Eternal happiness, the continuous upward journey of the nectar of nectar.
The gradual destruction of the tendencies of sorrows one after the other.
The Lord gradually did that.
Which any devoted and unwavering human being could have done.
Amrit!
The Amrit which the Lord attained.
That,
Could have been easily attained by the common man also.
But the pacification of the mental tendencies.
Extremely difficult.
The attachment of desires.
The death.
That world of beauty and elegance, manifested every moment, was invincible.
It was extremely difficult to conquer it with ordinary self-confidence.
The great man did everything that would lead to salvation and nirvana.
There, the mind had to be unveiled, unblemished and unshakeable.
But, this was not in everyone's power.
Those who did it, attained the Amrita Pad.
What complexities of the mind and society did the Lord overcome? How many ups and downs, pains, inner conflicts, differences, pretensions did he challenge dispassionately? He destroyed pretensions, religious complexities. He ignited the truth.
Soul!
He remained silent on this.
Not because he did not have knowledge or experience of it. The land on which he is situated, he certainly understands his heartbeats. A human standing on the philosophical land of Vedanta may reject the gods and goddesses, the symbols of faiths, but how can he reject the soul or Amrit? Is there no happiness in our Hindu religion? Only in them is the description, acceptance and definition of the soul.
Akshar Brahman is a direct proof of this.
How can the one who climbed these steps and attained the Amrit Pad remain unaware of this?
The pronunciation of the word soul was prohibited among the common people because it had become synonymous with ego. For attaining heaven, Ashwamedha Yagya, human sacrifice, animal sacrifice, unlimited donation of wealth to Brahmins were done. Brahmins were snatching everything from the ordinary blind conservative people in the name of worship and sacrifice with the memorized mantras and shlokas of rituals. They were making them ascend to heaven through yagnas.
The Lord completely refuted this.
The dominance of Brahmins was snatched away.
Bitarag himself described his past births.
Whose birth kept happening again and again?
If, there was no belief in the soul.
So who remained bound in the body, in the fabric of the pudgal?
Thirst! Never.
Thirst is born out of the five elements and gets destroyed along with it.
Only the pure and unchangeable soul remains.
Which keeps on moving and emanating from all forms, inanimate and immovable.
Who will deny this?
The Lord could not announce Amrit in the group of fools.
It is sown only on the right land.
Fertile is worthy of fertilizing.
So he always said that make the barren impure.
The Amrit position will be attained automatically.
The Lord offered his obeisance to the unbiased essence of thoughts from the vast ocean of knowledge of Indian philosophy.
He himself said that Buddhism is a research method, it is not a new religion. It is pure knowledge free from pretensions. It is only Amrit Rasa. All classes and communities are freely invited to it.
This is merely a renewal and refinement of ancient Indian philosophy.
Eternal truth does not block anyone's path. This can be confirmed in Abhi's daily Hindustan, Ranchi Express, Tuesday, 17.11.2019, in the words of Buddhist religious guru and the epitome of human good thoughts, Param Pujya Dalai Lama ji:-
"If I say that Buddhism and Hinduism are the same, some Buddhists will criticize me and if I say that both are different, it will be wrong. Neglecting one's own culture after being influenced by someone is undesirable."
Again in Ranchi Express of Friday, dated 20.11.1992, he said-
“Non-violence and compassion are two sides of the same coin which are the basis of human life. India is the birthplace of non-violence and philosophy. From here, philosophy has spread all over the world.”
This was also the foundation of Prabhu’s religious thoughts.
All religions and thoughts, wherever they are spread, their original source is Vedic philosophy. Indian culture and philosophy are infinite, intact, eternal and pervasive. Somewhere the assertion of non-violence, somewhere the prominence of Nirguna, somewhere the worship of the Sun, somewhere the worship of fire. All are its variations. This infinite beauty has been and will continue to enchant the entire world with its beauty, the nectar of decency, and provide spiritual peace. The forgotten ones find the key to their home here. This eternal satisfaction is incomparable.
Buddhism or any other religion or chain of thoughts, all have flourished and developed under its shadow, watered by the nectar of Vedic culture. If the focus is on the subtle form of religion and not its gross form, then no controversy can be invited.
The call for what is true is everywhere.
The main objective of this poem has been made keeping in mind the current social, political and moral devaluation of the daily routine of every person.
A person is just a group of thoughts. What we call the soul is not a touchable thing; it is a process of self-improvement.
That is why Buddha said "Be your own lamp" or "Ehi Passihi".
This poem establishes the feelings of world brotherhood and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. It is just an attempt to recognize oneself. It is a hint to stay away from ostentation.
This is just an attempt for the sake of poor world love and world peace. After the completion of Amriteya Buddha, a void was felt. Buddha was the carrier of the most sublime and subtle tender feelings. Why could the most tender feelings and the blazing self-evident knowledge not be mutually sensitized, balanced and covered? The consciousness would have received the comforting support of a new ideology if this could have been conceived and possible.
The heart and the mind are complementary to each other and emerged together. The fiery characters of these ideologies are Uttara-Anand. Both are two opposite ends, but are tied by a thread somewhere. This is a subject of research.
Why could not their solution or solution be found till now? Why did the ideological people keep moving away calling it impossible?
Fate, irony, deprivation of destiny are synonyms of downfall. Hence, one more canto has been added to this poem written in 27 cantos. Satyarthi is free from conflict, fearless, selfless, and is a constant seeker of the soul. Therefore, good literature is always filled with freshness and originality.
Therefore, Amriteya Buddha is the object of every enlightened person.
I hope they will consider it their own.
